In short

Amiora collects no data. There is no server, no user account, no advertising and no tracking. Everything the app reads or stores stays on your device. The provider receives none of it – not even in anonymous form.

2. What the app processes

Contacts

Amiora reads the date fields of your contacts – birthdays, anniversaries and any field you created yourself – along with the name, phone number, e-mail address and photo of that person. This happens only after you have explicitly granted access in iOS, and only on your device.

You can withdraw permission at any time in the iOS settings. The app remains usable but will no longer show any dates.

Your settings

Sender name, couple sender name, language, message templates and reminder times are stored on the device. They never leave it.

Device ID

On first launch the app creates a random number and stores it in the device keychain. Its only purpose is to identify the same installation in a support request. It contains no information about you or your device and is never transmitted automatically – only if you copy it and send it to us yourself.

Reminders

Reminders are local notifications. They are scheduled on your device and triggered by your device. There is no push service and no server that learns about them.

3. Legal basis

Insofar as any processing within the meaning of the GDPR takes place at all, it happens exclusively locally on your device and on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you give by granting contact access. The provider never gains knowledge of this data.

4. When you send a message

Amiora does not send anything itself. When you tap WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, SMS or e-mail, the app opens the other application and places the text in its input field. Nothing is sent until you send it – in that other app.

From that moment the privacy policy of the respective provider applies (for example Meta for WhatsApp and Messenger, Telegram, Apple for Messages and Mail). Amiora has no influence on this.

5. No sharing, no analytics

6. App Store

Purchase and download are handled by the Apple App Store. Apple processes data under its own responsibility; Apple's privacy policy applies. The provider only receives aggregated sales figures without any personal reference.

7. Storage period and deletion

All app data resides solely on your device. Deleting Amiora deletes it as well. There is no need for deletion at the provider, because nothing is stored there.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77).

In practice the provider holds no data about you that could be disclosed or deleted. For questions please write to app@frommeyer.de.

9. Changes

If the app gains features that handle data differently, this policy will be updated beforehand. The version published here is the authoritative one.
